Counseling services provided to youth
individually and through group activities throughout the West
Kootenay Boundary Region.

Alcohol and Drug Day (RADD) Program
Intensive day treatment program
centralized in Castlegar providing on going intake throughout the
West Kootenay/Boundary region. Providing 4-6 week long day treatment
groups. The RADD programs mobile component will provide programming
in outlying communities based on need.

and prevention strategies for youth, parents, teachers, and

Youth Substance Abuse Management Program:
Probation mandated program for youth with substance abuse issues
impacting their behavior.

The Kootenay Youth Adventure Program (KYAP)
This is a prevention based program focussing on
positive recreation in the West Kootenays. Group of up to 10 youth are
selected and taken on various recreational outings with the goal of
introducing them to new recreational opportunities, work on group dynamics
and positive peer relations, and work on individual goals and issues. For
